When you click “Scan This Page,” SEOLensAI reads the current page’s HTML (headings, meta tags, structured data, links, and text) to perform its analysis. To check AI-bot access, it also reads the website’s own robots.txt and llms.txt files. This reading happens within your browser, and the results are shown only to you. No page data is sent anywhere.
The extension uses your browser’s built-in local storage (chrome.storage.local) to remember:
This data stays only on your device. You can clear it at any time by removing the extension or clearing its data in your browser.
On Google Search results pages, the extension may display an optional on-page overlay with SEO/AEO/GEO indicators. This is generated locally from what is already on the page. No search queries or results are collected or transmitted.
SEOLensAI does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, payment, or tracking services. It is completely free with no in-app purchases.
SEOLensAI is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children. It collects no personal data from anyone.
